Testimony of a co-worker who visited the prisons with us:

I was so deeply blessed to be invited to accompany Carl and Kathy Olson in four different Wisconsin prison facilities during my recent trip to the Midwest. This experience was such a blessing to me and left me with many different emotions.

I certainly want to stand behind the Olsons as they give of themselves to reach out to those who have made some poor choices in life and who are hurting. I see this as such a worthwhile ministry to bring hope and peace to many of the inmates.

It was a great privilege to be with Kathy as she listened and shared with different women individually. I was so impressed at how the Lord gave her the right words to say in each difficult situation.

Carl so capably shared the power of the Scriptures with individuals and with groups of men who seem to be reaching out to receive a message of hope. I was moved to see Carl's ability to put the men at ease listening to what they might have to share and opening the Word of God to them.

How special it was for me to see real faces to accompany the names which I have heard the Olsons so lovingly speak about. During the hours that I spent in the facilities after the big iron gates had closed behind us, I was reminded that each offender has a story to tell, each one has had pain and disappointment but no situation is too difficult for our Heavenly Father.

I am so privileged to know Carl and Kathy and to see first hand the wonderful dedication to these prisoners. Their concern is bathed with love and prayer. I left with a more intense appreciation for this ministry, for personal freedom and for forgiveness through the blood of Jesus Christ.
